My day at the hospital

152 steps. I counted. I am on my way to the hospital where I was born.

Me and David at his lab

This is the machine that mixes the blood.
David is a hematologist, he studies the blood

David showed me how it works.

I saw pink and purple dots. It was other people´s blood. My mom told me that David was one of the doctors who saved me when I spent two months in this hospital.

Celeste was my nurse and she showed me a really tiny baby inside an incubator and twins also inside sperate incubators.
My day at the hospital was awesome. I also saw my first physical therapist, Amélia. But I forgot to take a picture with her.

adorei a visita guiada ao Hospital Conde S. Januário. Sabes que também foi nesse hospital que o Nuno (pai do Mário) nasceu.

Awesome Maya. You a a natural journalist. Wish I was there to share your excitement. You have to tell it to me in person when you get back.
